While our core focus is on Waste Management, in these trying times, we are raising funds to provide emergency food packs to daily wage labour families in various slum communities like Bhagat Singh Nagar, Prem Nagar and Jawahar Nagar in Goregaon West, who are impacted because of COVID-19.

In Phase 1 we identified about 1000 families. Their situation was precarious. Most of them do not have ration cards and hence are most vulnerable and affected. We provided them a basic food packet with rice, wheat, oil, masalas etc.

We are happy to announce that we have delivered this number thanks to support from friends, family and friends of friends!

We are now aiming to support 10,000 families this month and we need your help.

The total cost of each hamper including packing and distribution is Rs. 1500. This relief pack will take care of their food and hygiene requirements for about 21 days.

The P-South ward officers are supporting us in this initiative and have helped us with space at a couple of municipal schools for packing and storage.

We have a partnership with a number of wholesalers for the food items. Any funds raised above this will be used to provide this emergency pack to more families.
