It all started with an introductory session for the students and faculty of Mittal College regarding Solid Waste Management. The college, led by Mrs. Arya their Principal, was very enthusiastic about this initiative.
Post the introductory session, they soon wanted to know how they could implement waste management principles at their college canteen. We organized a training session from Dailydump, which also provided the necessary tools for composting the green waste.
In order to utilize the compost that would thus be generated, we suggested having a kitchen garden workshop for the faculty. This session which was led by Ms. Purvi Shah was a grand success!
