When Gokuldham society from Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) thinks that something is socially important and needs to be done, they just rise up to the challenge and do it.
That’s exactly what happened when all its residents, guided by none other than Champak Chacha, took up segregation of waste at the society. They also converted the kitchen waste into compost which can be used in the garden. All in all, they save a lot of waste going into the landfills.
Such a simple but effective concept. If all of us follow these basic principles around waste management, the burden on landfills will be easily reduced and it will lead to a much cleaner and greener planet.
Lets learn from the Gokuldham team and ensure we take this up in our respective homes, societies and communities.
